How to use
Features
- The Realtime map shows the service that is available right now. It redraws itself to show service changes and planned work based on information provided by the MTA.
- The Scheduled map shows service according to the MTA schedule. It defaults to the current time, but you can select any day and time combination.
- The Status tab shows all of the current service alerts.
Map interface
- Pan and zoom. Move the map by dragging your finger. To zoom in and out, pinch and spread your fingers or use the zoom controls in the lower left corner of the map view. Double tapping on a location also zooms in. The icon resets the map.
- Localization. Tapping the icon will zoom and center the map on the station that is nearest to you (geolocation services required).
- Legend. Tapping the icon will bring up a legend explaining the symbols in the map.
- Station information. Tap a station's service mark to see real-time train departure times and elevator/escalator status.
